The Promenade/Canal Walk
On our way to pick up my sister from the Indianapolis Airport, my two little sisters, mom and I took a walk around Indy, enjoying the warm spring day. It was so pretty!
Nature Reserve Hike
My family went on a hike at a nature reserve. It was so pretty with the new spring blossoms and HILLS! I couldn't believe Indiana actually had contour. =O
It made me feel a little bit at home with the hills and cliffs... A sense of Utah!

On Wednesday, my friend Tyler took me on a rather random and spontaneous but absolutely fun date. We went to the outdoor mall, read Calvin and Hobbes and Far Side comic books in Barnes and Noble, then ate pizza at the food court and talked for a good hour and a half!

Gaby's La Quinceañera
My friend Gaby had her La Quinceañera a couple of weeks ago. There was a dinner (Chinese food, lol) and dancing four three hours straight! It was an absolute blast, but goodness am I glad I'm wearing a short dress to prom! ;)
(I hesitate to upload these... I'm not the type of girl to look at a picture of me and say, "Ew, I look so gross!" but I have to about these pictures...eww! haha)

Jack!
About a month ago, our landlord told us we could own a dog. My family promptly visited the local shelter and found Jack, a 5-year old Gordon Shelter/Boarder Collie mix. Jack may not be the perfectly trained dog (he pulls like crazy when you walk him) but he's a total cuddle bug and we love him!
This is the first time I've ever own a dog, so it's pretty exciting. Somehow, it just feels natural, like Jack (as in, Captain Jack Sparrow ;) was meant to be part of our family...
